Delano Las Vegas Hotel Review. For our stay at the Delano, JP had a free night stay from his casino rewards. I had a bunch of free night stays at various Vegas hotels as well, but all of my options were studio rooms and that wouldn’t be ideal for the 3 of us. The Delano was the only one that had the 1 bedroom option. 7/7/2022. The Delano is a great hotel for many reasons - price, location within the Mandalay but without a casino, the rooms are bright and large, they all have their own living room, there are 3 TVs in the room, 1.5 bathrooms, and the beds are -- HEAVEN. Both reservations on Amex's travel portal were only ~10% more expensive (~$10 more at Delano and ~$25 more at Palazzo) than booking direct with the base level loyalty member discount (cheaper compared to AAA discount at the time).
